Trying to Lose Weight and Get Fitter

As some of you may know, I’ve battled with my weight all the way throughout my adult life and have gone from anywhere between 81kg [less than 13 stone / 180lbs] to 155kg [over 24 stone / 340lbs]. Today, 3rd of December 2024, I’m beginning my attempt to lose weight again, like I did in 2014/5 when I lost 67kg [around 10.5 stone in a year). I’m currently weighing in at 130.7kg [circa 20.5 stone / 288lbs] and I’m aiming to lose 41kg [circa 6.5 stone / 90lbs] to get down to 89.7kgs [around 14 stone / 200lbs] by my 60th birthday in March 2026. Below’s where I’m currently up to.

– 4th of December 2024 … CURRENT WEIGHT: 129.7kg [circa 20.4 stone / 286lbs] … WEIGHT LOST SO FAR: 1kg [circa 0.15 stone / 2lbs] … STILL TO GO: 1kg [circa 0.15 stone / 2lbs] … MORNING BLOOD PRESSURE: 139/88 … MORNING PULSE: 82 … DAILY EXERCISE: 0 steps; 160 metres swimming; no cycling … FOOD: [9.00am] 1 x apple; 1 x sticks of celery … DRINK: [9.30am, lots of water … DAILY MEDS: 200mg Allopurinol, 10mg Amlodipine, 10mg Ramipril.
